To the Executive Council,
Experience Cycling Club
This letter is formalizing my previous announcement of June 16th; I am resigning from the position of President of the Experience Cycling Club (ECC), effective immediately.
It was my intention to complete the season before stepping down, but due to personal reasons I have had to accelerate my plan. I do not feel as though I have enough resources, especially time, in my current home situation to complete the tasks necessary to fulfill my duties in the aforementioned capacity with the club.
I would strongly suggest the new President reorganize the Executive Council to reflect the new administration. The Council should be made up of club members who are passionate enough to invoke changes and who will represent the club both internally and externally in a positive manner.
It is my hope that the new President will be able to continue the work we, the Executive Council, started this year. Further, I hope he or she is able to expand into new directions and lead the club in a positive manner so that cycling the Cowichan Valley will continue to grow.
Best Regards,
Brian Kuhn
Addendum: June 24th
The Executive Council voted to convert to a Committee format in which Tara Altimas was elected the Director.
