Experience Cycling Club (ECC) Bulletin Board

Well, BC Cup #5 went down at Bear Mountain in Mission this weekend and the EC crew was out in full force. The MC (Jeff Bryson) noticed all the EC riders and just started saying things like "This guy doesn't have a sponsor but I am sure he is another Experience Cycling rider, they are everywhere.

Bear is one of the most fun courses on the circuit with some steeps, berms, jumps, everything you could ever want in a race course. The results are as follows:

Stuart Suave - 12th U19 Citizen Men
Gareth Neilson - 13th U19 Citizen Men
Mark DiPrata - 20th U19 Citizen Men
Linden Penner - 25th U19 Citizen Men (had a major gear failure and had to run his bike out from the top 3rd of the course. Well done Linden, you showed excellent sportsmanship and you were very diligent in getting out of the way of your fellow racers. Props!!!)
Denise Britton - 1st Master 30+ Women (another dominating victory of the field, 9 seconds over second)
Mitch Zacharias - 16th U17 Men
Scott Menzies - 27th U17 Men
Dylan Manning - 33rd U17 Men (respectable after losing a shoe, maybe tie those babies up...or get velcro?)
Mark Van Der Pouw Kraan - 5th Senior Men 19-29 (rippin' fast!!!)
Gord Menzies - 6th Master 50+ Men (after a couple hard crashes in practice, well done Old Man, full respect for you.)

Awesome job done by everyone. It was a great weekend for all experience cycling racers.
there were lots of parent support and members from the club not racing out to cheer.
Thanks Chris for helping out with the team jerseys. they were everywhere.
